Google's Project Glass

Google Glasses
I know you all have heard about it at least once. If you haven't, you need to look this up because your missing out on some old news LOL. Smart phones, Smart watches and now Smart glasses. Project Glass has alot of cool features like video and photo capture by just pressing a button on the glasses which will more than likely be their biggest selling point. Project Glass also boasts audio capture, Google Maps via GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, 3g/4g data connection and Smart phone integration. Google did emphasize that the glasses are made to be a stand alone product meaning it doesn't require a connection to your phone like the Sony Smartwatch. Now the things that may be an issue. Speculation suggests that ad's could be something we will be seeing which could cause alot of distraction. We deal with enough advertising when surfing the internet, the last thing you want to see is an ad poping up every second of the day. Also something I have not seen anyone talk about is battery life. This could be a make or break in itself as it will render the peripheral useless. Video capture kills alot of battery in itself and is an issue for alot of cellphones in the market so we will have to wait and see how it plays out. Personally, I will not buy the glasses if it wont last the whole day. No release date has been established, but according to Google 2014 at the earliest. Will you get Google Glasses when it comes out?
